Kalau tak tengok betul2 orang tua ni, confirm u olzzz xtau bila dorang ni sakit. Kalau dorang merengek,  nanti ada anak yang ingat dorang mengade-ngade..

Actually,  elderly signs are non-specific & more easily overlook.

-  Just like small babies, we realise something is wrong when they kept crying or refuse to sleep or eat.

-   Each elderly patients will present in their unique way.
-    Only the regular carers will realise that something is not right.

Non-specific warning bells :

-          Reduce conscious state
-          Irritable
-          Poor feeding
-          Incontinence
-          Fever
-          Fast pulse rate

• Normal range: 60 – 100 per minute,
• Tapi, slalunya bacaan antara 60-84 je. Kalau dah 90 ke atas tu ..be extra careful ea.
• Kalau kita baru lepas penat-penat jalan pun PR akan naik 90 ke atas. Bezanya, PR ni akan turun ke paras normal after we take some rest. It won't prolong.

-          Low blood pressure

• Optimum BP – 120/80 mmHg,
• Tapi, reading 90/60 mmHg tu still acceptable. (BP aku pun 90/60 jugak. Hehe..)
