Adequate rest

What is the optimal amount of sleep to get?
Between 7-8 hour of sleep a night.

Chronic sleep deprivation can lead to/ associated with:
- decreased leptin levels & elevated ghrelin levels -> increased appetite.
- increase risk of obesity.
- chronic increased inflammation.
- shorter life span.

Sleep also influences many aspects of our lives:
-how well we think.
-sugar meabolism.
-immune function.
-biochemical reactions.

Nasihat saya: Sebenarnya ramai yg tak faham kenapa mereka sering demam, selsema, sakit atau lemah badan...even ramai doktor pon xfaham hal ini. Bila patient datang ke klinik, doktor akan check dan beri ubat. Even seseorang tu batuk atau selsema sehingga 3 mggu pon n after ruled out other causes seperti TB, jangkitan kuman dll..ramai masih x sedar sebab mereka batuk adalah kerana imuniti mereka yg rendah. Mengapa imuniti mereka rendah? Kerana x cukup vitamin, mineral & fitonutrien yg diperolehi dari diet seharian & minum air yg tercemar, udara yg tercemar, tak cukup rehat. Memang sukar nak kawal aspek udara tercemar. Tp, dr segi diet..mmg SEMUA ORANG PERLU AMBIL SUPLEMENT MULTIVITAMIN, MULTIMINERAL & PHYTONUTRIENTS.
